Just a reminder that tomorrow is Photo Day!!!

This morning Room 13/14 completed their first EYE Opener Literacy Task. We played Boggle which is a word creation game. Ask your child for examples of words they created.

We also completed our self-portraits. They will be up during our conferences at the end of September. You MAY be asked to guess which portrait belongs to your child. 

We also complete a Math assessment so we can get a feel of what your child remembers from Grade 3. Ask your child how they felt they did on this assessment.

Well….we all made it through the first 6 days of the 2024-2025 school year. Each and everyday, the students make strides in understanding new routines and transitions set forth to them by Mrs. Pittman and myself. 

Over this time, students have been working on collaborative activities with old and new peers, math puzzles, get-to-know you movement games, and teamwork tasks in the gym and outside setting. 

Mrs. Pittman and I have set-up a blog to communicate the learning of all students in Room 13/14, school wide updates, field study information, and photos of our adventures.  This page will be co-written by teachers and students, so please check it out on a regular basis. We are so pleased with the start our Grade 4 students have had to the 2024-2025 school year. They are adjusting to having 2 teachers and a large group of peers. We are excited for what this group of amazing students will accomplish this year.
