The students worked on Blockly today as they attempted to program their Ozobot to pick up items that would be appropriate for the composter. Ask your child what was successful and a challenge.

Students have also been working on making inferences this week based on evidence (text and artifact) and past experience or knowledge. 

Just a reminder that there is No School on Monday and all Grade 4 classes will head to TELUS Spark on Tuesday.

It’s Coach Bre! I had a wonderful time getting to know the grade 4s at Maple Ridge and teaching them some rugby last week. They all caught onto the sport fairly quickly. It was wonderful to see their skills develop over the 4 days. They were the 1^st group of grade 4s to get to a flag rugby game by Friday! The 2025 spring season starts in the beginning of May and concludes the last weekend of June. There are many clubs around the city that you can join. I have attached a map of the area the clubs are located.
