This is Pi Week...with Pi Day officially on Friday, March 14!! We will be having an assembly on Friday at 11:30 to celebrate this day.

Today the students completed a Pi Sketch filled with the digits of Pi.

We also learned more about this amazing number and the equation used to calculate. We took a walk around the classroom looking for circular containers to measure both the circumference and the diameter.

Ask your child the meaning of the following words:
-circumference
-diameter
-radius
-ratio
